Advocacy group meetings provide individuals with disabilities the tools and training to be successful self-advocates.
An advocate is someone who speaks up for their rights and ensures they have access to services and life-long opportunities not unlike people without disabilities.
The Advocacy Group meets every other month the third Wednesday of the month from 4:30-5:30 pm at Kaitlyn’s Cottage (1260 Ralston Avenue). Individuals engage in topics that empower and inform them. (January 16, 2019/March 20, 2019/May 15, 2019)
