The Next Chapter Bookclub is a club where people with disablities read, learn to read, make friends, and enjoy a fun evening each Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. The group meets on the campus of Defiance College (The Pilgram Library coffee shop) where they read aloud, and discuss a book of their choosing. There are also hot/cold beverages and heathy snacks available.

The group has read serveral books including: Charlotte's Web, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and The Secret Garden.  We welcome members with all reading abilities.  Book club facilitators include students, professionals, retirees and people with disablities. This is a great opportunity to improve literacy skills and make social connections. This life-long learning experience is offered September through May.
